Lauren Anderson - Lolly's Home Kitchen

Lauren is a Graphic Designer-turned-Cookier, obsessed with creating more joy in life and in the kitchen.

She grew up knowing she wanted to have a creative career. If you asked her Mom and Dad, they would have told you her curly hair was proof of her creativity. She chose graphic design to make her mark on the world, but after having kids, she needed a different outlet. She needed more joy, and cookies gave her that. 

She decorated her first cookie when she was going through the hardest years of her life. She had a baby with a serious medical condition, and her life changed in an instant. Her son’s needs were so tremendous that she left her graphic design job and became his around-the-clock caretaker. Eventually, she found some stability, and decided to bring something into her life that was just for her - cookie decorating!

Over the last four years, she has taught herself the dos and don’ts of baking and decorating cookies through a lot of trial and error, while learning and navigating the world of online marketing and funnel creation. Now, she gets to share the basics of how to get started with cookies as well as mastering techniques to thousands of fellow cookiers at Lolly's Home Kitchen with her wildly successful courses like Cookie Camp, popular recipes, and creative themed classes. Her goal is to inspire everyone to jump in and choose to have more fun and joy in life through cookies! 

She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Ricks College, Idaho in graphic design. The design degree and her passion for design and art come in handy while running her cookie business. After over 20 years running various art departments, and her own graphic design firm, she is able to bring experiences full circle as she shares her baking and decorating passion to different outlets and formats online, reaching all over the world. 

She is also the mother of three amazing kids, a CHD heart Mom, and is married to her soul mate and best friend, Preston.
